Self Storage is Taking Over the U.S.

For the past 40 years, storage has been a booming industry. Facilities have continued to appear across the globe as demand for independent self storage facilities continues and storage facility construction is at an all time high.

In recent years, the number of storage facilities has outpaced not only hospitals, but also the number of grocery stores, Starbucks and Target stores . . . combined. Storage facilities also outpace banks, post offices, and hotels and show no signs of slowing down as demand remains high for household storage. With such explosive growth in the storage industry, it wouldn’t be surprising to see them continue to outpace many of the common businesses we depend on today.
