We then developed an aggressive marketing strategy for locations that were in need of rentals and moved marketing budget away from locations that were at the desired occupancy goal.
Our ad copy and landing pages focused on price, location and quality. We promoted seasonal deals, included location addresses and phone numbers, and emphasized important storage features such as heated and air conditioned storage units, covered loading area, computer-controlled access, and individual door alarms.
This strategy allowed us to bring local customers to the storage locations that were most in need of rentals. We were able to meet the clients occupancy expectations and increase their rentals by 18% year over year.
